Last updated on the 12th of February 2025

By accessing or using our facilities, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Membership

1.1 Eligibility

To join The Albury Gym, you must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent. Members under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to refuse membership if eligibility requirements are not met.

1.2 Membership Type

The Albury Gym provides various membership plans to suit your individual needs. The membership plan selected will determine access to facilities and the services provided.

1.3 Membership Fees

Membership fees are based on the type of membership plan. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or under the terms of the cancellation policy.

Prices will be reviewed periodically. Members will be informed of changes to pricing in a timely manner.

1.4 Daily Guest Pass

Passes are available for guests. Guests must be signed in and accompanied during their visit. It is your responsibility to ensure that your guest behaves in accordance with the rules and code of conduct.

2. Facilities

2.1 Access

Access to the facilities is available only during designated operating hours. While we aim to maintain a consistent service, unforeseen circumstances may lead to temporary closures. In such cases, prior notice may not always be given, but we will notify members of closures as soon as possible.

2.2 Parking

The Albury Gym offers free onsite parking for all members. To ensure compliance with the terms of our lease, it is essential that members adhere to the parking guidelines. Failure to do so may result in corrective action, including the potential termination of membership.

Park considerately to maximize available space and reduce the likelihood of accidents. If you have any issues parking, please report them to staff.

You park in the car park at your own risk. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to your car, or personal belongings in it, while you are parked in our car park.

2.3 Code of Conduct

All members and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other users. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, including but not limited to harassment, vandalism, or damage to property, will result in immediate suspension or termination of membership.

The following rules must be observed to minimize disturbance to nearby residents and allow our members to enjoy their experience.

·       Please avoid using your phone or mobile device unless you are in the Café/Wi-Fi area. Using a mobile phone in the gym increases the risk of injury and is discouraged.

·       Do not record videos on the premises without permission. The use of a video camera can be intrusive and unsettling for other members and is therefore prohibited unless specifically approved by staff.

·       Respect the premises and equipment. Clean up after yourself and leave all spaces as you would expect and like to find them.

·       Wipe down apparatus after you have used it. This will help to keep communal areas and equipment sanitary.

·       Always wear appropriate clothing and footwear to prevent injury, promote safety, and maintain modesty.

·       Be patient if equipment is unavailable. If using equipment, kindly complete your exercise in good time to allow others access.

·       The spa, wet areas, and changing rooms are limited in availability. Enjoy the facilities, but please be mindful that other members may be waiting for their turn.

·       If you spot a problem or health and safety issue, then please report it to a member of staff. This will help to reduce the likelihood of accidents and continually improve spaces we use.

2.4 Health and Safety

Members are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit. We recommend you consult a qualified healthcare professional before you start your exercise program.

You must confirm that it is safe for you to participate in our classes, one-on-one training and all other forms of exercise. If you are unsure about your fitness level, or think you may be at risk of injury, tell us. If your health status changes and presents a risk, notify us immediately.

Before you start using the gym or fitness equipment, we will ask you to undertake a supervised induction session to familiarise you with the equipment and encourage you to try a wide range of activities.

2.5 Liability Waiver

Members must acknowledge that they are using the facilities at their own risk. Whilst The Albury Gym will make every effort to make the environment safe, we will not be liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages sustained while using the gym.

3. Personal Training and Classes

3.1 Personal Training

Personal training sessions must be booked in advance. Cancellations should be made 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid cancellation fees. Personal training sessions are subject to availability.

3.2 Trainer/Client Agreement

Classes must be booked in advance. Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid cancellation fees. All Group or Tailored classes are subject to availability.

4. Membership Cancellations and Refunds

Membership fees are generally non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made in certain circumstances, such as medical conditions or relocation, and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
